Fernando Alonso remains undecided on Formula 1 future

Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso has declined to comment on his future plans, stating there is ‘no rush’ to make a decision regarding his continued participation in the sport. The 45-year-old Aston Martin driver addressed questions about his career longevity while attending the new Formula 1 site in Madrid.

Alonso, a two-time world champion, indicated that he wants to first understand how upcoming regulatory changes will impact driving. Having competed in 440 Grands Prix since his debut in 2001, his career spans the era of V10 engines to the current hybrid technology. Fellow driver Sergio Perez noted the complexity of Alonso's position, citing both the driver's age and his enduring passion for racing.
