Fernando Clavijo receives CC endorsement for Canary Islands presidency

The Tenerife branch of Coalición Canaria (CC) has officially endorsed Fernando Clavijo’s candidacy for the Presidency of the Canary Islands in the 2027 regional elections. During a meeting of the Insular Political Council, Clavijo expressed his intention to lead the nationalist project for a new political cycle.

Clavijo emphasized the need for stability and a project focused on addressing regional challenges, including housing, healthcare, demographic pressure, public services, and economic opportunities for youth. Francisco Linares, the insular secretary general, supported the move, citing Clavijo’s experience and vision for the archipelago.
