Fernando Díaz undergoes emergency surgery for gallbladder removal

Deportes Concepción coach Fernando Díaz underwent emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder following a sudden health complication. While his absence from recent training sessions caused significant concern among fans and within the Chilean football community, sources close to the manager indicate he is recovering well at home.

Due to his medical situation, Carlos Reinoso is expected to lead the team during the upcoming match against Deportes La Serena this Saturday. Although Díaz faced serious health issues in 2024 while managing Coquimbo Unido, his current medical team suggests he may reintegrate into training activities within the next few days.
