Fernandópolis police identify remains of missing woman

Police in Fernandópolis, São Paulo, have identified human remains found in a rural area as belonging to 32-year-old Pryscila Karla Zacarias. The remains were discovered on February 12 near personal belongings and documents belonging to the woman.

Zacarias had been missing since December 2025, following a reported argument with her husband. While her family reported her disappearance after she was last seen following a dispute, investigators have not yet determined the cause of death or the circumstances regarding how the remains arrived at the location. The Civil Police investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
