Ferran Adrià's culinary legacy featured in new series Gènesi

The new documentary-style fiction series ‘Gènesi’, produced by 3Cat and Netflix, explores the life and career of world-renowned chef Ferran Adrià and his revolutionary restaurant, elBulli. The series, which premiered at the San Sebastián Festival’s Culinary Cinema, depicts the birth of the Spanish gastronomic revolution.

Miquel Fernández portrays Adrià in the series, receiving critical acclaim for his performance. Ferran Adrià himself served as an advisor and supervisor for the project. Having watched the six episodes approximately 40 times to check for inaccuracies, Adrià has expressed satisfaction with the production and is reportedly interested in a second season.
