Ferrara announces new cultural and educational programs for children

The Municipality of Ferrara is launching several educational and cultural initiatives for children. As part of the ‘Festa delle Famiglie’, the city will host ‘A spasso per la città con le fiabe’, an itinerant storytelling event in the historic center. Led by characters including a knight, a princess, and a dragon, the free activity will guide families through symbolic locations to explore the connection between Ferrara and fairy tales.

Additionally, the ‘Laboratorio delle Arti’ program will return to primary schools for the 2026/27 school year. Promoted by the Department of Education, these workshops aim to use art as an educational tool, helping students explore emotions and artistic techniques. The sessions are scheduled to run from January to May 2027 at the Centro di Documentazione Educativa.
