Ferrara: Father and son attacked in city center

A father and son, both teachers, were attacked in the historic center of Ferrara on Thursday evening while returning from dinner. The incident reportedly began as a verbal dispute with two individuals traveling on electric bicycles.

The altercation escalated into a physical assault, with the attackers striking the men before fleeing the scene. One of the teachers was treated at the Cona hospital emergency room for a fractured nasal septum, though reports indicate no life-threatening injuries were sustained.

State Police arrived at the scene to collect statements and are currently reviewing surveillance camera footage to identify the suspects and reconstruct the sequence of events. While the victims have sought medical attention, they have not yet filed a formal complaint.
