Ferrara hosts seminar on integrating psychology into Community Houses

A seminar titled ‘Una casa comune’ will be held in Ferrara on September 28 and 29 to discuss the integration of psychology within ‘Case della Comunità’ (Community Houses). The event focuses on implementing regional guidelines to include psychologists as essential members of interprofessional healthcare teams.

Participants will examine how psychologists contribute to assessing needs and performing clinical interventions, health promotion, and community-based care. The seminar will feature academic lectures from the University of Bergamo and the University of Padua, comparing the Emilia-Romagna healthcare model with experiences from other Italian regions. Discussions will also cover updates on consensus conferences for treating common emotional disorders and regional healthcare company projects regarding prevention and continuity of care.
