Ferrara Sotto le Stelle festival wraps up with Kings of Convenience and Marlene Kuntz performances

The second week of the Ferrara Sotto le Stelle festival (July 28‑30) took place at the historic Delizia Estense di Benvignante in the town of Argenta, Italy. The venue, a Renaissance castle, hosted a diverse lineup that included the Norwegian indie duo Kings of Convenience, who were joined on stage by Italian‑Irish cellist Naomi Berrill and bassist Davide Bartolini, delivering a relaxed, multi‑instrumental set.

On the penultimate night, Italian rock band Marlene Kuntz performed a high‑energy concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1990 album Il Vile. The show opened with the Tuscan band Loren and featured enthusiastic audience participation, underscoring the festival’s role in highlighting both international and home‑grown talent.
