Ferrari 12Cilindri arrives in Vietnam as Brembo debuts new heavy-duty brakes

The first Ferrari 12Cilindri has arrived in Vietnam via a private importer in Ho Chi Minh City. The supercar features a metallic red exterior, black 5-spoke wheels, yellow brake calipers, and carbon fiber accents. As the successor to the 812 Superfast, it is powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 819 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The interior includes Daytona Racing sport seats with red Alcantara upholstery and a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster.

In automotive technology news, Brembo has introduced its most powerful brake caliper to date, named ‘Brembo Boldika’. Designed specifically for heavy pickups and large SUVs, this 6-piston aluminum alloy and cast iron caliper provides a total braking force of 8,500 Nm. The technology will debut on the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST Stars and Steel Edition, which features 754 horsepower and a significant curb weight of up to 4,127 kg in certain configurations.
