Ferrari celebrates history and production milestones
Since its industrial beginnings in 1947 with the 125 S, Ferrari has evolved from a racing-focused manufacturer into a global cultural icon. The brand is defined by its high-performance engines, such as the V12 designed by Gioachino Colombo, and its distinctive Prancing Horse logo, which was inspired by aviator Francesco Baracca.
Key historical models include the 250GT California, the GTO series, the Dino, and the Testarossa. The brand has maintained a strategy of limited production to ensure exclusivity, often keeping supply below market demand. While early production was minimal, the company now delivers approximately 13,000 vehicles annually.
Total historical production and deliveries are estimated to have surpassed the 300,000 milestone by 2026. The brand's collector market remains exceptionally strong, highlighted by the sale of a 250 GTO for 51.7 million dollars in 2023.
