Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna praises new Tesla Roadster

Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna has expressed high praise for Tesla’s new Roadster, describing its presentation as a demonstration of continued innovation potential within the automotive industry. During a video conference from an event in India, Vigna awarded the vehicle a score of 10 out of 10 for both its technology and its presentation.

Vigna noted that the unveiling shows there is still significant room for daring and innovation even in a mature sector. While Tesla aims to begin production of the Roadster by 2028 using technologies derived from SpaceX, the company faces mixed reactions from investors due to the long-awaited commercial debut.

This unexpected endorsement comes as Ferrari prepares for its own transition into the electric vehicle market with the Luce, its first fully electric model. The Ferrari project involves collaboration with the design collective LoveFrom, founded by former Apple designer Jony Ive.
