Ferrari classic cars gain significant value through heritage and customization

Two rare Ferrari models have gained attention due to their unique histories and high market valuations.

A 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC, featuring a rare Marrone Colorado metallic paint, was recently rediscovered in a garage by a granddaughter named Liliana. The vehicle, which included original Ferrari tools in a leather bag, underwent a deep restoration to return it to its former condition. Comparable models have been known to sell for over 800,000 dollars.

Separately, a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spider formerly owned by actor Steve McQueen is heading to auction at Christie’s. McQueen reportedly requested the car be repainted from its original Blu Sera to a dark metallic blue to suit his preference. The vehicle also features custom modifications, including widened fenders and a flip-tail design, and is estimated to be worth millions of dollars.
