Ferrari Daytona SP3 hits $26 million at charity auction

A Ferrari Daytona SP3 has set a significant benchmark in the luxury car market following a charity auction at Monterey in 2025. The Tailor Made vehicle was sold by RM Sotheby’s for $26 million, making it the most expensive new Ferrari sold at that time.

The Daytona SP3 is part of Ferrari’s limited Icona series, which celebrates historical racing designs with modern mechanics. While production was limited to 599 units for clients, this specific sale involved a “599+1” unit dedicated to charity.

Attention is now shifting to a London auction scheduled for October 31, where RM Sotheby’s will offer a unique “Development Car.” This specific 2022 model was used by Ferrari for international press testing and is estimated to fetch between €8.7 million and €11 million. This vehicle has seen its value increase significantly from its original cost of approximately €2 million.
