Ferrari Enzo with unique matte black finish goes up for sale

A unique Ferrari Enzo, the only model of its kind to leave the Maranello factory with a Matte Nero Opaco (matte black) finish, has been put up for sale through RM Sotheby's. Commissioned in 2004 by a member of the Brunei Royal Family, the hypercar features a bespoke interior with black leather, black carpeting, and red instrumentation.

The vehicle is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 660 CV, capable of reaching speeds of 350 km/h. This specific chassis has recorded 5,740 km on its odometer. Following its time in London, the car was moved to the Asia-Pacific region before returning to Europe in 2022.

During its recent maintenance, the car was serviced by Carrozzeria Zanasi, a specialist in Ferrari hypercars and Tailor Made projects, where the original matte black paintwork was restored. While the final sale price via the private auction platform has not been disclosed, similar Enzo models can exceed US$ 10 million depending on their configuration and history.
