Ferrari faces performance crisis after five races without a podium

Ferrari is facing a performance crisis after failing to secure a podium finish in five consecutive Grand Prix races. The slump continued at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Charles Leclerc finished fourth despite starting from pole position, and Lewis Hamilton finished sixth.

Leclerc has expressed concern regarding the technical gap widening between Ferrari and its competitors. He noted that while Ferrari did not introduce major upgrades in Baku, rivals such as Red Bull and McLaren have implemented significant developments that have allowed them to reach a new performance level. Leclerc warned that the team must react quickly to avoid falling further behind.

Team Principal Frederic Vasseur is under increasing scrutiny as the team struggles with power unit performance and competitive pace. The situation has also sparked external speculation regarding team management and potential future leadership shifts within the Scuderia.
