Ferrari faces pressure heading into Dutch Grand Prix
Ferrari faces increasing pressure as the second half of the 2026 Formula 1 season begins at the Dutch Grand Prix. Following a disappointing performance at the Hungarian Grand Prix, where Charles Leclerc finished fourth and Lewis Hamilton finished fifth, the team is struggling to convert competitive pace into podium results.
Despite showing speed comparable to Mercedes, Ferrari trails in both the drivers' and constructors' standings. Kimi Antonelli currently leads the championship with 219 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton with 169 points. In the constructors' championship, Mercedes holds 379 points compared to Ferrari's 307. With 12 races remaining, the team must improve its race execution to challenge Mercedes' dominance.
