Ferrari Luce electric hypercar set for $1.1 million auction at Monterey Car Week

Ferrari’s first fully electric hypercar, the Luce, will debut as a collector’s item when chassis 0 is put up for sale by RM Sotheby’s during Monterey Car Week in California. The one‑off model, built to U.S. market specifications and finished through Ferrari’s Tailor Made program, features a unique iridescent “Madreperla” paint, white wheels, bespoke brake calipers and interior trim in Perla Le Mans leather. Technically it retains the standard electric drivetrain delivering 1,050 hp, 0‑100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h. The auction’s reserve price is set at $1.1 million (≈ €960 k). Proceeds will be split between the Ferrari Foundation’s educational projects in the United States and the M‑Tech Alfredo Ferrari research centre slated for Maranello, Italy, slated to open in 2029.
