Ferrari Luce electric supercar to fetch over $1 million at Monterey auction

Ferrari is set to auction the very first electric model, the Luce, as a unique Chassis 0 prototype. The car will be presented during the Monterey Car Week in California in August, with auctioneers RM Sotheby's handling the sale. Experts estimate the selling price could exceed $1.1 million (around €1.1 million), well above the standard Luce price of about $640,000.

The one‑off vehicle has been personalised by Ferrari’s Tailor Made program. It features a special Madreperla Semi‑Gloss paint that shifts hue with lighting, a white‑trimmed interior using Le Mans‑inspired leather, and bespoke white wheels. Technical specifications include 1,035 hp, a 0‑100 km/h time of 2.5 seconds, a 530 km electric range from a 122 kWh battery, and an 800‑volt architecture. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Ferrari Foundation’s educational activities.
