Ferrari Luce prototype spotted undergoing road tests in Italy

New spy photographs have captured a heavily camouflaged prototype of the Ferrari Luce undergoing road testing in Italy. The vehicle is covered in a dense black-and-white optical pattern designed to obscure its specific design details, a significant change from previous sightings of less-covered units.

Despite the camouflage, the prototype reveals a two-volume coupé silhouette with an elongated hood, a recessed cabin, and a fastback roofline. The design features pronounced rear wheel arches, tapered rear light clusters, and wide air intakes on the rear bumper, maintaining the Gran Turismo aesthetic previously identified. The car sits low on dark, multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The Ferrari Luce represents the first fully electric vehicle in the company's history. Officially unveiled in May 2026, the project involved design collaboration with the LoveFrom collective, including Jony Ive and Marc Newson. The model is expected to be a five-seat, all-wheel-drive vehicle.
