Ferrari probes brake and front‑wing issues at Barcelona Grand Prix

Team principal Frédéric Vasseur explained that the “Straight Mode” tool failed, preventing the front‑wing boost from operating correctly, and Hamilton also missed the first practice session, limiting his tyre preparation.

In Monaco, Charles Leclerc crashed after three of his four brakes failed, prompting the team to adopt the Carbon Industrie brake configuration that Leclerc uses for his car on Hamilton’s machine for the Barcelona weekend. Ferrari will test this setup in the first practice session to see if it resolves the braking problems that have undermined Leclerc’s recent form.
