Ferrari seeks first victory at Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Ferrari faces significant challenges heading into the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku. Despite securing five pole positions and four podium finishes across nine previous races in Azerbaijan, the team has yet to achieve a victory at the circuit. The Baku City Circuit is noted for its unpredictable nature, featuring narrow sections near the Old City where cars pass within centimeters of walls, and a long high-speed straight that demands high power and aerodynamic efficiency.

Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur emphasized the need for perfect execution and adaptability, noting that the unpredictable variables of the Baku track require high levels of trust in the car and precise operational performance. The race weekend schedule has also been adjusted, with races being held on Saturday to respect a local memorial day on September 27.
