Ferrari selects Livorno for Hypersail hub as Digitalmens debuts XRSupport
Ferrari has selected Livorno, Italy, as the operational hub for Ferrari Hypersail. The site will serve as the center for the assembly, testing, and daily management of the project. Hypersail is a 100-foot ocean-going flying monohull designed to use foils to lift above the water surface, reducing friction. Designed by Guillaume Verdier and led by Giovanni Soldini, the prototype aims to compete in the Jules Verne Trophy for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe.
In the technology sector, Digitalmens has introduced XRSupport, a solution designed to enhance remote technical assistance. Presented by founder Giuseppe Monfregola, the platform integrates smart glasses, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. The tool allows field technicians to receive real-time, hands-free instructions from remote experts, aiming to reduce downtime, travel costs, and logistical complexities during infrastructure and technical maintenance.
