Ferrari technical upgrade strategy impresses McLaren

Ferrari's rapid technical development strategy has drawn attention from Formula 1 competitors. Unlike teams such as Mercedes, McLaren, and Red Bull, which typically release large upgrade packages sporadically, Ferrari has adopted a philosophy of continuous, incremental improvements, introducing new parts to the SF-26 almost every race weekend.

McLaren Engineering Director Neil Houldey noted that Ferrari's volume of upgrades has been impressive, prompting the Woking-based team to examine its own processes to match the design and manufacturing pace seen in Maranello. While competitors have raised questions regarding whether Ferrari can sustain this pace under the budget cap, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc expressed full confidence in Team Principal Fred Vasseur's management of the team's expenditures and development efficiency.
