Ferrari unveils 296 GT Modificata track-only model
Ferrari has announced the 296 GT Modificata, a limited-production circuit-only model developed for the Club Competizione GT program. Based on the 296 GT3 Evo, the Modificata is designed to provide owners with a high-performance driving experience free from racing regulations. It features a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing 730cv and 800Nm of torque, outperforming the GT3 Evo by 130cv.
Key technical enhancements include a redesigned aerodynamic package with a new front wing, bonnet, and rear wing, as well as a six-speed sequential transmission with optimized gear ratios. The vehicle weighs 1330kg and includes standard equipment such as a data acquisition system and specialized braking systems. The cabin has been converted to a two-seater configuration to allow a coach to accompany the driver.
In related automotive maintenance discussions, the importance of vehicle drain holes (drainage ports) is highlighted. These small openings in car doors are essential for preventing water accumulation, which can lead to rust, electronic failure, or unpleasant odors. Regular inspection of these ports is recommended to ensure proper drainage of rainwater and wash water.
