The company set an initial 2026 production target of just under 500 units, including a limited batch of 88 cars for the Chinese market. Within two months the entire allocation was sold, meeting the sales goal by July. Demand was driven largely by wealthy Chinese buyers, with additional interest from U.S. technology entrepreneurs. First deliveries are scheduled for October 2026.

Ferrari plans to sell around 2,500 Luce units by 2030 – about 600 per year – aiming for electric models to represent roughly five percent of its total output and for one‑fifth of all Ferraris to be electric by that date. The rapid sell‑out occurred despite early criticism of the car’s design, which had caused an initial share‑price dip of over 8 %. In the second quarter of 2026 the company reported net revenue of €1.94 billion, up 8 % year‑on‑year.
