Ferreira do Zêzere opens new Citizen Shop and business incubator

Ferreira do Zêzere has opened its new Citizen Shop (Loja do Cidadão) at Praça Dias Ferreira. The facility integrates municipal services, including Secretariat, Urbanism, and Treasury, alongside the Citizen Space. It will also host services from the Tax and Customs Authority and the Social Security Institute. The project was funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) through European NextGenerationEU funds.

Additionally, the municipality is launching the FZ Innovation Hub at the former Pias Primary School. This project, part of the Ferreira do Zêzere 2030 Strategic Plan, will repurpose the building into a business incubator, co-working space, and multifunctional rooms to support micro-enterprises and local economic development.
