Ferreira do Zêzere Parish Council partners with Universidade Aberta

The Ferreira do Zêzere Parish Council has established a collaboration protocol with Universidade Aberta (UAb), Portugal’s only public distance learning university. The partnership aims to bring higher education and various training opportunities closer to the local population.

Through this agreement, the council seeks to help residents discover opportunities to start or resume studies, obtain higher education degrees, or acquire new professional skills regardless of age or employment status. The university offers a range of programs, including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as postgraduate studies and lifelong learning courses.

A public information session will be held in Ferreira do Zêzere in the near future to present available courses and explain access methods, including options for individuals over the age of 23.
