Ferrero and Fiorini Industries reach new labor agreements in Italy

Major Italian companies Ferrero and Fiorini Industries have reached agreements to renew supplementary labor contracts, focusing on welfare, bonuses, and professional development.

Ferrero has signed a four-year agreement (2026-2030) affecting over 7,000 employees across its Italian facilities. The deal includes a performance-based bonus that will increase to 3,100 euros by the final year of the term. Additional provisions include 4-euro daily meal vouchers for sites without canteens, support for the Alifond supplementary pension fund, and mandatory annual professional training. The agreement also addresses digital transformation, establishing union consultation protocols regarding investments in Artificial Intelligence and monitoring technostress.

At Fiorini Industries, a preliminary agreement has been reached with unions including Fiom-Cgil, Fim, and Uilm for over 200 employees. The proposed terms include meal vouchers of up to 6 euros per day, 250 euros in annual welfare benefits, and a performance bonus of up to 600 euros per year. The agreement is currently awaiting final approval via a worker vote.
