Ferrero and Save the Children launch new motor game in L'Aquila
Ferrero and Save the Children have inaugurated ‘Fungus’, a new motor skill game at the Punto Luce center in L'Aquila, Italy. The donation was made possible through Ferrero employees participating in the ‘Global Step Challenge – Every Little Step Counts’ initiative.
Fungus is part of the ‘Kinder Joy of moving PARK’ series, designed in collaboration with the Department of Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II. The equipment is intended for children aged 5 to 12, utilizing the ‘Joy of moving’ method to promote physical activity, initiative, and skill development.
The inauguration included local social policy assessor Manuela Tursini and representatives from AppStart, Ferrero, and Save the Children. This initiative is part of an international social responsibility project and a multi-year partnership aimed at combating educational poverty and supporting the development of children and adolescents in vulnerable social contexts.
