Italy issues new stamps celebrating Made in Italy brands
The Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has launched a new series of ordinary postage stamps titled ‘Le Eccellenze del sistema produttivo e del Made in Italy’. The collection celebrates six historic brands that represent the excellence of the Italian production system.
The selected companies include Ferrero, Birra Forst, Eureka Macinacaffè, Oro Saiwa, Patatine San Carlo, and Saquella Caffè. The stamps were printed by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, with print runs ranging between 180,000 and 225,000 copies per brand.
Minister Adolfo Urso presented the series, noting that these companies have built a global reputation for Italian products as a symbol of culture and quality rather than just manufacturing. The Ferrero stamp features a contemporary graphic design incorporating the group's logo and colors inspired by its iconic products. Poste Italiane has also released specialized philatelic products for collectors.
