Ferreyros invests over S/ 310 million in Peruvian infrastructure projects

Ferreyros, a heavy machinery leader, is financing and executing 19 'Works for Taxes' (OxI) projects in Peru, representing a total committed investment exceeding S/ 310 million. These initiatives aim to improve the quality of life for more than 260,000 people across several regions, including Áncash, Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad, Pasco, Piura, Puno, and Ucayali.

The project portfolio, which includes 12 completed works, focuses on water and sanitation, as well as educational, road, and health infrastructure. The company is also in discussions with public entities to develop 'Services for Taxes' to address challenges related to the El Niño phenomenon.

Ferreyros operates both independently and in consortiums with various companies, such as Antamina, Backus, Cementos Pacasmayo, Cerro Verde, Minera Chinalco Perú, Minsur, and Volcan Compañía Minera, to collaborate with different levels of government.
