Ferrol hosts 26th edition of national wheelchair tennis open

The XXVI Cidade de Ferrol Wheelchair Tennis Open is currently taking place at the Tenis Casino Ferrolano. Organized by Club ADM Ferrol and sponsored by the Ferrol City Council, this tournament is one of the longest-running events on the national wheelchair tennis circuit.

The competition features 14 athletes from various Spanish regions, including Galicia, Asturias, Catalonia, Andalusia, the Basque Country, and Madrid. The field includes high-ranking national players such as Jorge Iglesias, ranked 5th in Spain, and Juanjo Rodríguez, ranked 8th. Local player Álvaro Illobre will compete in the singles bracket starting from the first round.
