Ferrol hosts concerts by Paula Koops and Leire Martínez

Musicians Paula Koops and Leire Martínez headlined summer festivities in Ferrol, drawing large crowds to the Plaza de Armas.

Paula Koops, an emerging artist who gained popularity via TikTok before signing with Universal, performed several singles and tracks from her 2024 project, ‘Motel’. The performance was met with significant fan enthusiasm, including banners and messages of welcome from the audience.

Leire Martínez, formerly the vocalist for La Oreja de Van Gogh, performed her solo repertoire, including songs from her album ‘Historias de aquella niña’. During her set, Martínez expressed a strong connection to the city, speaking in Galician and stating that Ferrol ‘é casiña’ (is like home). She shared the stage with her husband, saxophonist Miguel Sueiras, and singer Andrés Suárez.
