Ferrol shipyard auxiliary workers to receive increased bonuses through 2029

Workers in the auxiliary industry of the public shipyards in the Ferrol estuary will receive increased specific bonuses for working within the facilities. This follows a modification to the provincial collective agreement for the iron and steel industry in A Coruña, which was published in the Official Provincial Gazette.

The new non-consolidated bonus is applied per effective working day to all personnel performing activities within the public shipyard installations in Ferrol. The amounts vary by professional category and will increase progressively through 2029. For example, first-class steelworkers and supervisors are set to receive 705.5 euros in 2026, rising to 778.5 euros by 2029. Other categories, such as technicians, administrative staff, and laborers, will also see tiered increases according to their specific roles.
