Ferrol summer festivities attract over 100,000 people

The San Ramón summer festivities in Ferrol achieved record attendance, with more than 100,000 people participating in the celebrations. Mayor José Manuel Rey described the event as a “rotundo éxito” (resounding success).

Musical performances were a primary draw, with 14 concerts and various orchestras attracting approximately 60,000 spectators. The free nature of these events contributed to high turnout, with some individual performances reaching up to 5,500 attendees. The festivities also featured drone shows and fireworks that illuminated the Ferrol estuary.

In addition to music, the program included the Ferrol Rally, Equiocio, the Cidade de Ferrol bodyboard championship, and various children's activities. Tourism offices reported 7,126 visitors during the month, including 3,185 pilgrims.
