Ferrovial reports 52% profit decline but revenue rise in H1 2026

Ferrovial posted a net profit of €258 million for the first half of 2026, a 52 % drop from the €540 million recorded a year earlier, as the extraordinary asset‑rotation gains that boosted 2025 results did not repeat. Revenue grew to €4.7 billion, up roughly 5 %‑11 % year‑on‑year, driven by strong performance in its North‑American highways and airport assets.

Adjusted EBITDA reached €746 million, an increase of about 14 %‑22 % versus the comparable period in 2025. The Highways division posted €740 million of revenue, up 15.8 % and received €357 million in dividends from its North‑American assets. The Canadian 407 ETR concession approved a CAD 550 million dividend for the third quarter of 2026. Ferrovial’s Construction division achieved a record order book and posted a 3.5 % adjusted EBIT margin.

CEO Ignacio Madridejos said the first half was “excellent”, highlighting solid results from North‑American assets and the record construction order book, and noting continued opportunities in complex greenfield projects and public‑private partnerships in the United States.
