Ferrovial to delist from Amsterdam stock exchange
Ferrovial has announced it will delist from the Amsterdam stock exchange, with the final trading session on Euronext Amsterdam scheduled for September 10, 2026. The official exclusion will take effect on September 11, 2026.
The decision follows the company's 2023 relocation of its headquarters to the Netherlands, a move intended to facilitate its entry into the U.S. market. Ferrovial noted that trading activity in Amsterdam has dwindled to just 0.15% of its total average daily trading volume, making its continued presence there unjustified.
The company, chaired by Rafael del Pino, will maintain its headquarters in the Netherlands and remain subject to its regulatory and corporate governance framework. Ferrovial will continue to be listed on the Nasdaq in New York and on Spanish stock exchanges, which currently account for 59.21% and 40.63% of its average trading volume, respectively. The move aims to simplify the company's listing structure and improve its market profile efficiency.
