Festa do Boi 2026 begins in Parnamirim with agribusiness and music

The 64th Festa do Boi begins this Friday, October 9, at Parque Aristófanes Fernandes in Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte. The event, organized by the Associação Norte-Rio-Grandense de Criadores (ANORC) in partnership with local government and SEBRAE, will run until October 17.

The festival serves as a major agribusiness showcase, featuring animal exhibitions, livestock judging, auctions, and business training. The previous edition attracted over 500,000 visitors and generated more than R$ 100 million in business.

In addition to commercial activities, the event offers a diverse musical program with a focus on local artists from Rio Grande do Norte. The free performances include genres such as regional music, forró, and sertanejo, aimed at supporting the state's cultural sector and providing opportunities for local musicians.
