Festa do Marisco in O Grove sees high attendance and seafood sales

The Festa do Marisco in O Grove has seen high attendance during its opening weekend, with over 13,000 portions of seafood sold in the first two days. Popular dishes include octopus, scallops, razor clams, and seafood rice. The event features various cultural activities, such as local music, traditional games, and the Regata de Dornas a Vela sailing race.

In addition to the tasting tents in O Corgo, the ‘Mussel Route’ offers a unique experience via catamaran trips through the Arousa estuary. These cruises allow visitors to observe traditional mussel cultivation methods while enjoying mussels, wine, and music on board. Organizers note that these maritime excursions serve as a year-round attraction for tourists visiting the Galicia region.
