Festa no Arraial musical arrives in Brasília

The musical “Festa no Arraial, O Musical” is bringing its national tour to Brasília for three performances at the Teatro Planalto on October 17 and 18. Inspired by William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” the production blends romance, comedy, and fantasy within the setting of traditional Brazilian “festas juninas.”

Directed by Thereza Falcão, the show features a large cast including Claudia Ohana, Lorena Tucci, and Mariana Braga. Following successful runs in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, as well as a stop in Fortaleza, the tour is scheduled to continue to Teresina and João Pessoa.
