Festi-Grîles festival attracts over 20,000 visitors in Sept-Îles

The Festi-Grîles festival in Sept-Îles attracted more than 20,000 visitors during its three-day event at the Vieux-Quai site. This sixth edition marked a return for the festival following a hiatus in 2025 and featured a new format including free admission.

Organizers reported high demand for food and beverages, noting that several microbreweries and food vendors ran out of stock due to the large crowds. While admission was free, voluntary donations collected nearly $9,300, which will be distributed to various organizations.

Hugo Rossignol, president of the organizing committee, noted that the inclusion of Ribfest and various food trucks helped return the event to its original mission. Although a decision regarding next year's event has not yet been finalized, preliminary discussions have already taken place regarding the return of Ribfest to Sept-Îles.
