Festival Dança e Movimento enters final week in Ilhabela

The 27th Festival Dança e Movimento in Ilhabela is entering its final week of programming. Scheduled between October 1 and 3 at the Espaço Cultural Pés no Chão, the festival features contemporary dance and elements of Brazilian popular culture.

Performances include “Eu Vim de Lá” by Studio de Dança Anderson Rodrigues, which explores Northeastern Brazilian identity through themes of work, faith, and resistance. Additionally, the Jorge Garcia Companhia de Dança will present “A Ilha,” a scenic experience inspired by the Cavalo-Marinho tradition from Pernambuco.
