Festival Dannunziano begins in Pescara and Abruzzo

The Festival Dannunziano has commenced in the Abruzzo region, celebrating the life and legacy of Gabriele d’Annunzio. The event features a multidisciplinary program encompassing literature, music, theater, history, technology, and gastronomy.

Initially held in various locations across the province of Chieti until August 28, the festival's core activities will move to Pescara from August 29 to September 6. Scheduled venues in Pescara include the Aurum, the Vate's birthplace, Pescara Vecchia, the Pineta Dannunziana, and the Tourist Port.

The festival aims to connect d’Annunzio’s work with contemporary cultural languages. Musical performances by notable Italian artists, including Gianni Morandi, Tiromancino, and Michele Zarrillo, are part of the diverse lineup designed to attract a wide audience.
