Festival de Igatu celebrates music and culture in Andaraí

The 16th edition of the Festival de Igatu is taking place in the Igatu district of Andaraí, located in the Chapada Diamantina region. The three-day event, running from Thursday to Saturday, features a diverse program of music, culture, and artistic expressions designed to promote local heritage and tourism.

The festival schedule includes a cultural night dedicated to local talents, followed by musical performances such as a tribute to Raul Seixas by Marculino e Seus Belezas and a set by Matheus Amorim. Amorim, performing his show ‘Quem Pariu Matheus que Balance’, will be accompanied by a full band and will perform a repertoire of original songs alongside reinterpretations of Brazilian music legends.

Other scheduled performers include Linha 08, Ricky Vallen, REISAN, and Pedro Pondé. The event aims to stimulate the local economy by attracting tourists to the historic district, which is known for its unique architecture and natural landscapes.
