Festival della Dignità umana to explore the future of work in Italy

The twelfth edition of the Festival della Dignità umana, titled ‘The Future of Work. The Dignity of the Person’, will take place from September 26 to October 9 across Borgomanero, Novara, and Arona. Organized by the Dignità e Lavoro Cecco Fornara association, the event brings together a diverse group of speakers, including economists, philosophers, journalists, and entrepreneurs, to discuss the evolving landscape of labor.

Key themes include the impact of artificial intelligence on ethics and employment, the transition from traditional production models to sustainable practices, and the challenges faced by young people in establishing stable careers. The program also addresses migrant labor and the need for an economy that prioritizes human relations and the common good over pure profit, as discussed in sessions regarding civil economy.

Notable participants include narrator Stefano Massini, economists Luigino Bruni and Davide Maggi, journalist Monica Maggioni, and sociologist Maurizio Ambrosini. The festival aims to foster a dialogue between academia, business, and the local community to find meaning and value in the modern working world.
