Festival delle Nazioni features Filarmonica Giacomo Puccini

The Festival delle Nazioni continues its musical and cultural programming in Città di Castello. The Filarmonica Giacomo Puccini, one of Italy’s oldest wind band institutions founded in 1885, is scheduled to perform at the Teatro degli Illuminati.

Directed by Angelo Benedetti, the program includes works such as Jacob De Haan’s ‘Arioso’, Marco Somadossi’s ‘Aqva’, and Jan Van der Roost’s ‘Highland Rapsody’. The concert also features a musical tribute to Saint Francis with Thomas Doss’s ‘Canzone di Francesco’ and arrangements from ‘The Threepenny Opera’ by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht.
