Festival en Pays Rêvé 2026 to be held in Martinique

The fifth edition of the Festival en Pays Rêvé is scheduled to take place in Martinique from November 16 to 22, 2026. Under the theme ‘Le monde à l’envers’ (The world upside down), the event will feature seventeen authors, including Yanick Lahens and Mohamed Mbougar Sarr.

Founder Viktor Lazlo stated that the theme addresses a world in crisis, focusing on topics such as violence related to drug and arms trafficking, gender identity, domestic and school violence, and collective memory. The festival aims to promote reading as an act of critical thinking and intellectual engagement with contemporary global issues.
