Festival Felina brings free Chilean cinema to 11 Maule communes

Festival Felina is celebrating its 12th anniversary by offering free Chilean cinema screenings across 11 communes in the Maule Region. The 2026 program will take place throughout October, featuring two distinct periods: sessions for youth audiences between October 6 and 9, followed by general public programming from October 21 to 24.

The festival will visit Linares, Talca, Constitución, Parral, Pelluhue, Maule, Curepto, Colbún, Curicó, Villa Alegre, and Molina. Funded by the Audiovisual Fund of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, the initiative aims to decentralize access to film and strengthen audiovisual circulation in the region.

The official selection includes five categories: National Feature Film, National Short Film, Maule Cinema, Maule School Cinema, and Music Video.
