Festival International de Hammamet celebrates 60th edition with Mehdi Mouelhi and Spanish star Bebe

The 60th edition of the Festival International de Hammamet took place in early July 2026. On 14 July, Tunisian artist and producer Mehdi Mouelhi presented his project “Nostaljica”, a contemporary reinterpretation of classic Tunisian, Arabic and international songs. He performed alongside singers Rana Zarrouk, Haytham Hlal, Mehdi Allani, Lasaad Sendy, Ameni Harabi and Ayham Rahali, covering pieces such as “Fouk Ennakhil”, “Alf Leila Wa Leila” and “Daaret El Ayam”.

The following night, 15 July, Spanish singer‑songwriter Bebe gave her first performance in Tunisia, celebrating the 22nd anniversary of her landmark album “Pafuera Telarañas”. Backed by musicians, she sang hits including “Malo”, “7 horas” and “Siempre me quedará”. The Spanish ambassador, embassy staff and representatives of the Instituto Cervantes attended, highlighting cultural ties between Spain and Tunisia.
